All Information about Kidney Stones

Suffering from a kidney stone is a frightening experience that carries a lot of stress along with it, both to your body and mentally. I can remember the first time that I had a kidney stone it hit me in the early morning hours. At first I thought that it was just a normal backache, but soon I found that it was something much worse. After I woke my wife up and told her that something was wrong she went out and began to look for some answers to why I was feeling the was I was feeling, and she discovered that I was suffering from a kidney stone. Here is what happened to me, and my case is very typical of what kidney stone symptoms are.

The first and easiest symptom that I was experiencing was the sharp and unrelenting pain in my back. For some people, I understand, this pain can be felt in the front as well, but for me it was in the back on one side down low, right where the kidney was. It wasn’t as if the pain came and went, it was just there and nothing that I could do could stop it from hurting. I soon began to pace back and forth, and found out that this is also one of the kidney stone symptoms. I’m not sure why, but it just is something that I did naturally, trying to get ahead of the pain.

After a while I ended up throwing up, which didn’t help the pain at all, it was just the strong. Suddenly, as quickly as it started the pain went away. Other times I had what are known as silent stones. These don’t carry the pain with them that the regular kidney stones do, but the way that I knew I had them was because my urine was darker than it usually is. I was concerned that something was really wrong as I knew that it was blood in my urine causing it, but after some research I concluded that it what it was. Eventually it went away and everything returned to normal again.
